The charity that I’ve selected this month is the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York which is also the charity we chose for the Commerce with a Conscience program from Tastefully Driven. With the Commerce with the Conscience program we donated 5% of our pretax profits from Tastefully Driven to the Regional Food Bank this year.
The Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York is out to help feed the poor and hungry. Through large donations of food from the food industry, the Regional Food Bank then distributes the food to organizations that help feed the hungry. As a member of Feed America the Regional Food Bank of Notheastern New York is part of the nationwide network fighting hunger in America.
“The mission of the Regional Food Bank is to be a leader in reducing hunger and alleviating poverty. We work toward this mission by ensuring that all products available for donation reach the Food Bank and are distributed judiciously to our member agencies; by practicing responsible stewardship; and by actively participating in the community to increase awareness of hunger and poverty.” – Regional Food Bank Mission Statement
With a struggling economy and a worldwide slow down the Regional Food Bank is all the more important in tough times. I’m very happy that we were able to contribute to fighting hunger through the Commerce with a Conscience program that we run at Tastefully Driven. If you can spare some money, make a donation to help those that are less fortunate in these tough times.

- I’m thankful for a solid business year even with a slowing economy
- I’m thankful that we can pay ourselves a salary at Pure Adapt
- Thank you to all the charities that I’ve wrote about this year for all the great work they do
- A special thanks to all the people of the armed forces past and present for preserving the freedom that is the United States of America
- I’m also thankful for the goofy turkey stock image I used lol
- Lastly thank you to everyone that reads my blog
Be thankful and be safe this Thanksgiving and enjoy some shopping, lets stimulate the economy if we can. Detailed Image and Tastefully Driven are running some great sales too (I had to plug our stores).

Commerce with a Conscience is a program that we run with Tastefully Driven where we donate 5% of pretax profits to charity. I’m happy to say Commerce with a Conscience has been a success and we made our first donation to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.
Not only did we make a donation, we also had the pleasure to attend the 19th Annual Auction to benefit the Regional Food Bank on November 5th where we all had the chance to contribute some more to the cause through raffles and auctions. This event was for a great cause and it was a great experience. Check out the picture of the team at the event below.
The Regional Food Bank makes a world of difference in times like this especially during the holidays. Learn how you can help out the Regional Food Bank at www.RegionalFoodBank.net.
We all work hard to grow the business but we also look forward to growing Commerce with a Conscience to make our contribution to our community.
