My Monthly Charity

Filed in: Charity

I’m starting a new monthly routine. Every month I’m going to pick a charity to write about and donate to. I guess I can say I started this with the Ronald McDonald House of Albany when I wrote about it in A True Selfless Act and made a donation to the radiothon that was going on. I actually just recently received a thank you letter from them yesterday.

The charity that I will be donating to is the American Heart Association - Middletown, NY. My good friend Priscila raising money for the American Heart Association and participating in a Heart Walk in Middleton, NY which makes this the perfect choice for this months charity.

Mission of the American Heart Association

The American Heart Association is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is:
“Building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.”

With heart disease and stroke as the number 1 and 3 killers in our nation the American Heart Association is out there to help fight against cardiovascular problems. There’s lots of valuable information on the American Heart Association website to educate everyone on living a healthy lifestyle, warnings of heart attack or stroke and much more.

Help the fight against heart disease by helping my friend reach her goal on her donation page or go directly to the American Heart Association.
