I’m taking a gander back at myself and Pure Adapt in 2008.
January
- At the start of the new year in 2008 we were still operating Detailed Image out of Greg’s basement and doing web services.
- I started this blog and my first post was a brief introduction Progressively Designing My Life on January 22, 2008.
February
- Pure Adapt moves into a 5000 sq. ft. warehouse
- I started routine where I write about a charity every month called “My Monthly Charity” blog posts.
- We made the decision to get out of client web services. No more client work for me.
- No pay for Pure Adapt owners
March
- Shortly after the move into the warehouse we encountered a string of problems beyond our control. It was Pure Adapt vs. BS.
- New ecommerce store Tastefully Driven was right around the corner
April
- Tastefully Driven launch
- We got that awesome American Express Plum Card which has done wonders for us.
May
- I made a complaint about the AOL’s Xdrive and it became one of my most popular post
- Pay day ding ding ding (see what Adam posted about it)
June
- My Monthy Charity May 2008 was featured on the American Red Cross homepage
- New Daily Specials feature at Detailed Image
July
August
October
- 2008 Elections
- My travels to the midwest to Cleveland, Fort Wayne IN and Chicago
November
December
- Monster holiday shopping weekend
- My holiday marketing 2008 overview
- I got sick on new years eve and our server was down (see Adam’s post about the wackness)
There you have it 2008 is in the books. That was one hell of a year. We finished the year strong at Pure Adapt and continue to strive to become a better company. Time flies when you’re having fun right, because even though it’s only January ‘09, December ‘08 feels like it was such a long time ago. It’s almost unfathomable that we didn’t even have a warehouse a year ago and Pure Adapt, Inc. is barely 2 years of age. We survived 2008 and there’s so much more more to come as we welcome in the new 2009 year.
