The Warehouse

Over the weekend Pure Adapt moved into a warehouse. The physical labor is finally done with now. We’ve put three days of physical labor moving into our warehouse. This was definitely exciting to be moving into our own place, we now have a central location and we have a great place. Let me take you through our move from day one.

Day 1 - February 22, 2008
The first day consisted mostly of packing up Detailed Image and prepping for the move into the warehouse. We starting packing up products and furniture from 11:00am - 7:00pm. I have to say everything went pretty smoothly.

Day 2 - February 23, 2008
This day started early at around 7:00am we went to pick up the our Penske moving truck. Greg is having blast driving the truck.

Day 3 - February 24, 2008
We got a lot done in the previous two days with only the four of us doing the moving. This day was mostly cleaning up the place and getting things organized. We went to BJ’s Wholesale Club before we went to the warehouse to pick up on supplies like paper towels, toilet paper, all that good stuff. Greg and George worked on getting all the products on the shelves and me and Adam worked on getting our wireless network up and running. The Sprint Broadband Card and Linksys Router worked great and wasn’t hard to set up at all, which I previously posted about in A Unique Solution. Again I have to say everything went smoothly. Here are some of the pictures of the final set up for that day.

That’s it, the Pure Adapt warehouse. We have lots of space to grow into and I think we have a great set up. We’ve been in there for about five days and fully functional since yesterday. It’s pretty sweet having everyone working in one location. One freaking complaint I have is that the space next to us started painting and they are definitely not venting it out and it’s all coming into our warehouse space. So yesterday and today we’ve probably lost many brain cells working in the warehouse. Other than the paint fumes it’s been great so far.
